Well after travelling 4,427 Kilometers to Melbourne from Perth and spending a lovely christmas day with Loren -We began working and helped to install new floors for Loren, which turned out beautifully not quite like all of our backs and knees!!
We cought up with some good friends whilst in Melbourne and told a few lies, or something like that.
Not sure if you are following the disastrous Floods in Queensland- well we had a solid week of rains in Melbourne prior to leaving for Tasmania on the 16th, Tasmania too had freak storms two days prior to our arrival and within 30mins of arrival we hit a flood damaged road and had to navigate very carefully to get through, lots of crops damaged and small towns cut off.
We stopped at a place called sheffield - the town of Murals, in march each year people come from everywhere to enter the mural comps. Everywhere you look there is a mural somewhere.
We went to Cradle Mt on Tues "Wow" I can understand why it is a world heritage site. it's as if Dove lake at the top is cradled by the Mountain.
19th jan off to Narawntapu national Park the silence is deafening. Scenery wild and beautiful and wildlife too.
WE have posted some pics today, there is an abundance of native animals, Kangaroos, wombats, wallabys etc; all around our Motorhomeat dusk.
Tomorrow off to the tamar valley and wine region - Rob is excited
